From a 35-Cent Comic to a Life in Art
The Spark
My journey into the world of comics started in 1978 with a well-worn copy of Amazing Spider-Man #176. That 35-cent comic sparked an obsession, and I spent my youth copying my heroes: George Perez, John Byrne, and Jim Starlin.
Professional Credits
That passion eventually led to my first professional gig inking Ben Edlund’s pencils for The Tick at New England Comics. From there, I was fortunate enough to contribute to a roster of titles across the industry for publishers like Malibu Comics, DC Comics, and Homage Studios. I’ve inked over 55 issues for major publishers, always priding myself on speed, quality, and hitting every deadline.
Forging My Own Path
As much as I loved contributing to established universes, I felt the pull to create my own. This led me to self-publishing, where I write and draw my own stories: Shanghai, Extraterrestrial, and Clockwork Diva.
My Process Today
Lately, I've returned to my roots with a renewed focus on traditional media. There's an unmatched energy in putting physical ink to Bristol board. You’ll see it in my latest pinups and commission work. Whether you're a fan, a collector, or a publisher with a paying gig, I'd love to connect.
