I drew this page in Procreate for the next Shanghai comic. I’ve been pretty overwhelmed with work during the pandemic and haven’t had nearly as much time as I would like to draw, so progress on that project is painfully slow.
I still think the comics medium needs a better distribution system for small publishers to be able to get into comic book stores. The amount of work that goes into a book far outweighs any money Shanghai has made. I do okay at conventions with it, but I’ll never get to bigger numbers without being available in shops. I keep trying, though.
