I recently started listening to a podcast called Do Not Relent by a group of guys who frequent the Proudmoore server, and it gave me a feeling of community that I haven’t felt in Warcraft for years.
The first toon I ever rolled was on that server, and she’s still there at level 120. I have a few other alts there as well. I started in a guild called Thorns of Gold, which was run by an Australian group called the Older Gamers. That ended badly in the second year, and I moved to Steamwheedle Cartel, but I quietly creeped back later.
I would love to find a guild again where people know who I am and don’t spend all my time with a solo experience.
