Even after doing keto for three months, I’m still learning how to make adjustments to what I’m consuming. For me, at least, in addition to keeping carbs to under 20 grams a day I’m also having to keep my calories around a thousand per day if I want to lose weight.

It’s getting easier the longer I do it, but staying disciplined is what I have to do. Any day I splurge on calories means a small setback and progress I have to remake.

I reached 209.4 this week, down from my starting weight of 243. About two years ago I got down to 204 before I gave up and reverted back to old habits. I’m really hoping this time sticks and I can reach my end goal and stay there.
